Choose the Placement First

Decide whether the sign will sit behind the top table, on a ceremony backdrop, beside the bar, at the entrance or within a photo area. The position determines the appropriate dimensions, mounting method, cable route and viewing distance.

Size the Sign for the Backdrop

Measure the backdrop, wall or frame rather than choosing a sign size in isolation. Leave enough surrounding space for flowers, draping or other décor, and check that the lettering will remain legible in wide-angle photographs.

Personalise the Wording

Names, initials, dates and short phrases generally translate well into LED neon. If the design includes a monogram, crest or detailed artwork, provide a clean vector file when available so the artwork can be assessed and simplified where necessary.

Coordinate Colour and Photography

Choose a colour that complements the venue and décor while remaining visible against the backdrop. Consider how the sign will appear both to guests and in photography; strong contrast often improves legibility.

Confirm Mounting and Power with the Venue

Ask the venue or decorator how the sign can be fixed or suspended, where power is available and whether cables can be concealed safely. For large backdrops or overhead mounting, use an experienced installer or event-production professional.

Allow Time for Design and Production

Standard lead time is typically 2–3 weeks after proof approval. Wedding schedules benefit from additional contingency, so approve the design well before the event. If the sign is required in less than two weeks, confirm the deadline before ordering.

Plan for Use After the Wedding

A personalised surname, initials or short phrase can become lighting for a home, bar area or future celebration. If reuse matters, choose dimensions, colour and wording that will also suit the intended space after the event.
